Italian ceramicist Paola Paronetto was born in Pordenone, where she lives and works. In her creations, she is always able to combine innovation with tradition. From porcelain to clay paper, to the Japanese method of raku, with the most varied techniques, she creates objects that anticipate the new trends in design.

She has conquered the public with her clay paper Cartocci collection; a mixture of paper pulp, natural fibers, and clay that results in a unique texture with a delicate and tactile quality. Created five years ago, it initially showed a frail character, but now is showing a more vigorous side, with the use of bright colors and bolder –bigger-shapes.

A tribute to the beauty of imperfection.
